Professional Voice Talent, You Are Missing Out

A little more than three weeks from now, professional voiceover talent from all over the country will spend a weekend together in Charlotte, NC at the first-ever Faff Camp conference. Faff Camp is a bit like the wildly successful FaffCon series of events, only with a bit more structure.

The days following the event will be interesting ones for everyone who attends. Their heads will be swimming with new ideas, renewed motivation, and plenty of new friendships and business opportunities. (My Mastermind Group is made up of people I met at FaffCon, and I can’t tell you how many referrals I’ve made to – and gotten from – other Faffers…I’ve even done cooperative marketing projects with some of them.)

The months following the event will be even more interesting. I’ve heard tons of success stories from people whose Faffing experiences motivated them to start that newsletter they’d been thinking about, to redesign their stale web design, or to beef up the equipment and acoustical treatment in their studio…all with great results.

And I’d hate for you to miss out.

What’s it Like?

The vibe at these events is one of support, enthusiasm, learning and encouragement, all wrapped up in a weekend filled with like-minded voice pros who are serious about improving their performance and their business.

I’ve never seen or experienced anything like it. And I’ve been to a lot of conferences.

Am I telling you this because I’ll be one of the speakers at this year’s event? To be honest, “Yes” and, “No.”

No

“No,” because I have nothing to sell you. No coaching, no products, no books, no microphones, no studio equipment. I’m not being paid to speak at Faff Camp, and that’s true whether there are 50 people in the audience, or 500.

Yes

“Yes,” because you can teach me as much I can teach you. I’ll be sharing some (okay, most) of the concepts and strategies that have helped me build a successful voiceover career.  And I could say that I don’t stand to gain anything by your attendance, but that’s not true. You see, I’ve learned something from everyone I’ve spent time with at one of these conferences. They’ve each found success in their own ways, and always give me a fresh perspective from which to see things. And I love that.

So selfishly, I’d love it if you’d attend, because I know that you can make me a better voiceover talent.

But don’t do it for me, do it for you. And for your career.

Here are the basics: Faff Camp is set for Cinco de Mayo weekend, May 3-5 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, NC. You can find out everything else you need to know before you sign up at FaffCamp.com. (Be sure to scroll down the About page.)

And if you’re on the fence about attending, or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with me. If you’re looking to take your VO career to the next level, I hope you’ll come say “Hi” in Charlotte next month.
